A Word from Andy
Hello Everyone,

As 2010 draws to a close, I’ve had the feeling like we’re running a sprint, not a marathon. Which is the wrong way around, isn’t it?  The TOP resources continue to grow at record pace:

It’s obvious we’re on the right track, as products seem to be flying off the virtual shelves and lots of traffic coming to the website each day.  But it was all happing so quickly.

I’ve promised myself some quiet time (moreso than normal) for the Christmas holiday, to sit down and look at my 2010 plans and make sure that I’m on track with my personal goals as well as where I want my business to be.  I also have some reading to catch up on – both technology trends as well as some classic business reads I want to revisit and polish up some old gems.

I hope you take some time to do the same.

Parting Thoughts
It is hard to believe another year has flown by.  2010 in two weeks, really?  Crazy.  For some of you, this is your busy season, and for others it’s a quiet period.  But regardless –  further to the introductory thoughts above – consider doing these two things:

  • Be sure that you’re scheduling some “big thinking time” for your online vision.  Even if it’s just an hour a month.  Curl up with a good book (DIY guide?), a notepad, and start scribbling.
  • Enjoy yourself.  Life’s just too short.  It’s the holiday season, so take a late evening stroll to see some Christmas lights, and have a mug of something tasty with someone special.  Your small business depends on you having that sparkle.  Don’t forget that.

The entire TOP team wishes you a wonderful holiday season, and best wishes for 2010!  We’re working on a few special things to help you with your 2010 resolutions, so stay tuned.
